CIE Galfor

CIE Galfor started out in 1973 as Barreiros Orense S.A., becoming part of the GSB group in 1998. Its mission is to be leaders in the manufacture of forgings by stamping, electro upsetting and extrusion, including heat treatment, machining and assembly if necessary, and respecting the most demanding quality certifications. More than 50% of production is exported to the European Union and the USA.

CIE Egaña

Egaña was founded in 1961 in Zaldibar/Vizcaya by Javier Egaña. In 1966, Egaña started to produce die-cast and formed components and became the first company to belong to CIE Automotive in 1996, becoming CIE Egaña.

CIE Denat

CIE Denat was founded in 2007 as member of "Grupo Amaya Telleria". In 2016 it was integrated in CIE Automotive Group. It is located in the NW of Spain with good communications with Europe by sea and land. CIE Denat has 3.600 m2 dedicated to machining and aluminium gravity casting processes.

CIE Alcasting

Founded in 2003. It is located in the Legutiano Industrial Park (Álava), in northern Spain. It has belonged to CIE Automotive since September 2008. CIE Alcasting is a plant dedicated to High Pressure Injection Aluminum Casting (HPDC), Machining, Assembly and leak testing. It has a constructed area of 5,800 m2, and is located near the best-connected routes in Western Europe.

CIE AKT Amorebieta

Our main activity is the injection of plastics for the automotive industry, manufacturing parts as TIER 1 for several OEMs in the Automotive Sector. It is a consolidated production plant, a reference in the sector with more than 25 years of experience. CIE AKT Amorebieta is a strategic supplier for the VW Group (VW, SEAT, Audi and Skoda). It is also certified in accordance with the IATF 16949 Automotive Quality Standard, ISO 14.001 Environmental Standard and Formel Q.

CIE Castings

The foundry comprises 3 different moulding units. The machining facility comprises 19 cells, CNC, VMC, leak testing and washing. The plant is ISO and BS/OHSAS. An important percentage is directly exported to the US and European customers. It is known for supplying critical castings with high strength and net shape.

CIE Somaschini Automotive

Somaschini has been producing gears since 1922 and brings onto the market that tradition which, together with the state –of-the-art methods and high technologies, becomes synonymous with experience and reliability. In order to gather the activities for the automotive high volumes production into a single dedicated unit, in 2007 was founded the production unit Somaschini Automotive s.r.l., close to Bergamo and to Somaschini S.p.A. This plant is speciliced in high volumes grinded timing gears and transmission gears for european market. In 2020 Somaschini was acquired by CIE Automotive.

CIE Somaschini

Somaschini has been producing gears since 1922 and brings onto the market that tradition which, together with the state –of-the-art methods and high technologies, becomes synonymous with experience and reliability. Somaschini S.p.A. was the head quarter of Somaschini Group made of Somaschini S.p.A, Somaschini Automotive and Somaschini North America. In 2020 Somaschini group was acquired by CIE Automotive. In this Plant, near Bergamo, we produce grounded gears in high and low volumes and we also have the possibility to manufacture spindles. Since 2015 we have introduced also fully automatized lines to machine sintered gears.

CIE Newcor MTG Corunna: Machine Tool & Gear (MTG) is a contract manufacturing company supplying the automotive industry since 1927. Our skilled manufacturing technicians will manufacture your component or assembly from forgings, castings, or bar stock. We’ll use your consigned material or we can source it for you. We’re prepared and ready to meet your particular needs by investing in the required capital equipment to create parts that adhere to your specifications. As a Tier I and Tier II supplier to the automotive industry, CIE Newcor MTG is a total project management-focused company that offers complete prototype support and a state-of-the-art, in-house metallurgical laboratory. As one of three Newcor subsidiaries, part of the CIE Automotive group since 2017, MTG boasts 185,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space between two Michigan-based plants in Owosso and Corunna. A 50,000 square foot addition has recently been completed at the Owosso plant.

CIE USA, established as Century Plastics in 1999, provides high quality parts in plastic technology. This unit of business, located in Michigan (USA), counts with two plants, one of them specialised in plastic injection and the other, in thermoforming & Composite Spray Molding.

CIE Metal CZ

CIE Metal CZ Hranice started production in June 2021 as a complement to the activity of the stamping plants of the Metal Division in the Czech Republic. In a 12,000 m2 building, it has specific robotic lines for welding and assembly steel and aluminum parts, for seat supports and body-in-white components, for OEMs producers of electric vehicles.

CIE Metal CZ Valašské Meziříčí was incorporated on 23rd September 2005. The company specializes in metal stamping, welding, machining and tube forming of automotive parts. Its portfolio of customers includes major carmakers as well as TIER1 suppliers in Europe.

CIE Nugar

CIE Nugar is a leading manufacturer of automotive parts for OEM's, including the stamping, assembly and painting processes. This plant has operated since 1978 with a clear vision and strategy of offering value added to its clients in the process of stamping with high-strength steels and welding assembly products. The human and technical development have allowed it to grow customer satisfaction achieving competitiveness and growth in the global automotive market.

CIE Nugar Puebla started production in January 2018. It is located in Puebla and has automatic welding and assembly linesusing robots. The plant occupies an area of ​​5,000 m2.

CIE Salgglas

Producing safety glasses in the automotive industry from raw glass materials with corresponding machining procedures (painting, bending or tempering). Manufacturing of laminated glass is also part of the core business. The history of the company goes back until 1873.
